Bio
The Fusionart Movement heavily influences Lily Nava’s painting style. Nava’s incorporation of mixed media into the work takes fantasy and surrealistic art to a different level by fusing in various materials, such as molding pastes, metallic paint and glitter, bringing about depth and meaning into each piece of artwork. Some works were created without the use of brush and rather by the use of rags and other materials. These techniques bring about a unique finished work of art. The painting style is derived from mysticism, a Near-Eastern meets West spirituality, and a foundation in European painting technology.
