About the Artist

After achieving her educational goals, Lily rekindled her childhood passion for creative expression and began working with oils, acrylics and other mediums on wood, ceramic and canvas.

Her earliest art influence was in her teens experienced through sketching, fashion design, writing poetry and listening to lyrics of songs seeking to somehow understand the story within the story, to experience the something more that she knew existed somewhere. The pinnacle point that turned her life back into the art world was after she received several books as gifts about the Old Master artists. She became quite fond of and found favorites in the works of Monet and Chagall, admiring their use of strong colors, both impressionistic and the magical realism they exhibit.
 

Then, in 2003, Lily met Rassouli, a visionary artist, and the founder of the Fusionart Group, a Global Association. She embarked on a new journey as an artist under Rassoulis mentor ship through his Painting with Spirit classes, retreats and fellowship with other artists. Now, finally, she felt as though the something more she had been searching for, was found. It was the path back to her self that had somehow become invisible amidst the day to day routine of her workday. The love of art, play and adventure, fueled by her drive to answer her life questions now enables her to share the spirit and colors of that something more with the world.

Lily Nava's future exhibits will include various gallery locations throughout California, Las Vegas and Northern Arizona.
